Practical & Exciting for Leaders: NGOs, Small Businesses, Multinationals

The book describes the science of happiness as applied to workplaces, and shows how people who feel content, appreciated and self-motivated create better results for their organizations. Then it focuses on the practical steps team leaders at all levels can take to move their workplace culture to one that empowers their people to feel that way. They talk about how even people doing objectively boring and difficult work can see their value to their organization and beyond.
Actually inspiring to realize that as a leader I can put joy and self-respect into my goals for my people as part of benefiting the mission.

Insightful and actionable!

Such a timely book. Today building and keeping a strong workforce is a huge challenge and many leaders are ill-equipped to meet the challenge. This book is perfect for the commute to work. It is science-based and provides practical advice for improving culture where you work. It’s an easy listen but packs a punch.
